For a Party of Eight,
it is recommended that when you fill in the provided Little Lords 'n Ladies invitations to allow 2-1/2 to 3 hours for the
whole party and write in the finish time so parents can arrange pick-up time. Expect about 1-1/2
to 2 hours of Little Lords 'n Ladies entertainment (party duration will vary depending on number of guests and their ages).
- Leslie, Hostess of
the Grey Forte arrives at your chosen location 1/2 hour prior to your invited guests. This allows time for set-up,
and to outfit the Royal Birthday Child. Meanwhile, the Royal Parents relax and take pictures.
- As the guests arrive to music, the provided/specially selected costumes
are tied on and face painting takes place. Some instruction is given on bowing/curtsies and the Royal Wave.
- Magic Dragon's Myst is sprinkled (you know it works if you
hear a bell tinkle) to enhance imagination and the children are introduced to imaginary canned ghost, Vladimir and
pet mouse, Versuvias.
- After the reading of the Proclamation, the Ceremonial Knighting
takes place then the children line up for the Royal Parade.
- The Royal Games are then played and prizes given to the winners.
- On to the Royal Ball which includes three dances!
- The finale is when all the guests honour the Royal Monarch
and is a particularly great photo opportunity.
- It is then announced that the Royal Banquet is served and the children
remove their costumes - they get to keep their name tags.
- The Royal Parents serve refreshments & *birthday
cake and oversee the opening of gifts.
- The Royal Birthday Child hands out their Thank Ye Notes as their
guests leave along with the *Party Bags.
- Parents smile and say to themselves "wow, I enjoyed myself too!".
